Data Engineer Level 5

Build systems that collect, manage, and convert data into usable information. For school or MAT staff who manage complex data pipelines and infrastructure.

Level 524 months + EPAFunding: £19,000

Programme Overview

The Level 5 Data Engineer apprenticeship prepares individuals to build and implement data flows that connect operational systems, and re-engineer manual data flows to enable scalable and repeatable use. Data engineers understand how data and an organisation's data architecture is essential to business outcomes. They gather, store, prepare and process data, building pipelines that deliver clean, reliable data to analysts and decision-makers. In a school or MAT context, a data engineer might build automated reporting pipelines, integrate MIS data with financial or HR systems, or implement data warehousing solutions to support strategic decision-making.
