Programme Overview
The Level 3 Multi-channel Marketer apprenticeship prepares individuals to support customer-focused marketing activities that drive demand through awareness-raising and perception-building across multiple platforms, channels and systems. As part of the marketing team, multi-channel marketers contribute to the implementation of marketing strategy and plans, delivering day-to-day marketing activities. They define, design, build and implement campaigns across a variety of platforms to drive engagement. In a school context, this role might involve managing social media, creating content for prospective families, supporting admissions marketing, or building the school's community presence online and offline.
What Your Staff Will Learn
- Coordinate and deliver marketing activities across digital and offline channels
- Plan and deliver tactical integrated marketing campaigns to agreed SMART objectives
- Create and manage content across social media, website, email and print channels
- Conduct background market and customer research to inform marketing decisions
- Monitor campaign analytics, collect data, and report on campaign performance
- Use appropriate digital tools including social media platforms, CRM systems and web analytics
- Manage marketing administration including budgets, supplier relationships and content calendars
- Align marketing activities with the school's vision, values and admissions or communication strategy
Entry Requirements
- 1Currently employed in a marketing, communications or admissions support role
- 2English and maths at Level 2 required prior to End Point Assessment
- 3Be employed for a minimum of 16 hours per week in England
- 4Have the right to work in the UK
- 5Creative mindset, good written communication skills and enthusiasm for digital marketing
Off-the-Job Training
Dedicated off-the-job training during normal working hours. Includes online learning, workshops, hands-on campaign delivery, and progress reviews. Funded via the Growth and Skills Levy (maximum funding band: £11,000). Non-levy employers contribute 25%.
End Point Assessment
End Point Assessment comprises two components: a Project with Report and Presentation (12 weeks, max 2,500 words, minimum 45-minute presentation with questions) and an Interview underpinned by a Portfolio of Evidence (minimum 60 minutes, at least 6 questions). Grades: Fail / Pass / Merit / Distinction. Typical EPA period is 5 months.
